« Took me 10+ tries to get WoW to installPatch day is looming (tomorrow?) »

I haven't been on my computer for six months

okay, here is the deal. I haven't been on my computer for six months so when I got on today I tried to run wow and I got the whole black screen/gauntlet thing, not knowing what was going on. So I deleted wow from cedega(dumb) and proceeded to update stuff on my OS, my graphics driver and cedega itself. I then tried to install wow fresh with nt40, and wow wont let me do it with that. So I put it on winxp and I go through all the disc's and when it's done it gives me this message:

The folder "" could not be created. (InstallerCreateFolders)

I have a similar setup although it's Ubuntu not SUSE. But we have the same processor.
1st you want to run WoW under 98 mode not NT or anything.
2nd the best two ways to install are from the disk, or even better from the blizzard 10-trial here. http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/downloads/files/pc/wowclient-downloader.exe
Install that link from Cedega in "windows 98" mode and it should work adequetly. I've noticed that amd64 systems need allot of tweaking, at least in Ubuntu. So remember to check out the SUSE forum. Someone probably has had your problem already.
